MTN Snow Equipment: A Legacy of Innovation in Snow Grooming

For decades, MTN Snow Equipment has been synonymous with quality and reliability in the snow grooming industry.

Originally established to meet the needs of snow grooming pioneers, MTN Snow Equipment has continually adapted to serve the diverse demands of snowmobile clubs, ski resorts, NORAD, and industrial clients across North America.

Today, while we now operate as MTN Equipment Inc., this change should not reflect a step away from the snow industry. On the contrary, our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art snow grooming equipment and exceptional service has nothing but grown. Instead, we have also expanded upon our skillset and manufacturing expertise to deliver a wider range of metal fabrication products, parallel to snow equipment.

OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1982 as Beartrac LMC Canada Inc., we began as a Canadian branch of Logan Manufacturing Company (LMC) and supplied thousands of snow groomers to clients like ski resorts, snowmobile clubs, 4-wheeler clubs, and NORAD.

In 1998, under the leadership of Charles Stenger, the company rebranded as MTN Snow Equipment Inc. after LMC’s closure. Charles spearheaded the expansion into replacement parts for all snow grooming vehicles, focusing on quality and innovation.

Producing 90% of parts in-house with premium materials, MTN has become a trusted name in snow grooming, serving clients across North America and beyond.
