Our success is shaped by the decades of leadership of Charles Stenger, President, and Claude Marcil, Vice President & General Manager. Together, their extensive expertise and commitment to metal and snow equipment innovation have positioned MTN Equipment as a pillar in the industry. They embody a legacy of quality, trust, and forward-thinking strategies that ensure every product we create meets the highest standards of excellence.

OUR STORY

MTN Equipment’s journey began with Charles Stenger in 1982, under the name Beartrac LMC Canada Inc., as a Canadian branch of Logan Manufacturing Company (LMC USA). In those early years, we specialized in providing snow grooming machines to ski hills, snowmobile clubs, and even the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). These partnerships laid the groundwork for a reputation built on reliability and quality.

When LMC USA ceased operations in 1998, our team stepped up to meet the needs of concerned customers who depended on parts for their equipment. Charles rebranded as MTN Snow Equipment Inc., shifting our focus to manufacturing high-quality replacement parts. From our small beginnings servicing LMC machines, we steadily grew to design and produce parts for all major on-snow groomer brands such Prinoth/Bombardier, Pisten Bully, Tucker, Lamtrac, and more.

Over the years, we’ve expanded into new industries, such as energy and material handling, while remaining deeply connected to the ski and snowmobile communities. With a commitment to producing 90% of our parts in-house, we’ve built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and dependable service. Every step of the way, the leadership of Charles Stenger and Claude Marcil has guided MTN Equipment with a focus on precision, customer satisfaction, and adaptability.

Today, MTN Equipment continues to evolve, serving clients across North America and beyond. Through innovation, dedication, and a strong network of partners, we strive to uphold the trust we’ve earned over decades.
